Barrier Restore Cream

Since turning 40, I’ve become so much more mindful about the products I use on my skin and my skin absolutely loves the Radiance Cleansing Oil. It’s become my everyday cleanser and removes everything beautifully while still feeling incredibly gentle and nourishing. My skin never has that tight or stripped feeling afterwards which, as someone with sensitive and reactive skin, is a huge win for me. My skin just feels soft, comfortable and really well cared for after I use it. Such a beautiful product and one I genuinely look forward to using every day.

I’m genuinely so impressed with the Flora Lane Barrier Restore Cream. My skin is prone to perioral dermatitis and can be quite sensitive, but since using this my skin barrier feels so much stronger and more resilient. I recently had an awful flu and went through boxes of tissues, yet somehow didn’t end up with the usual sore, irritated skin around my nose. That really showed me how much healthier and less reactive my skin has become. Such a beautiful product and one I’d absolutely recommend, especially if your skin is sensitive or needs a little extra barrier support.

Well, all I can say is thank you, Lauren, for introducing me to Flora Lane. As a 44-year-old woman, busy mum, and full-time worker, I have no time for a 12-step skincare routine. Honestly, some nights I’m lucky if I remember where I left my keys, let alone whether I’ve taken my makeup off. By bedtime, I’m usually running on fumes, half-dressed, and one deep sigh away from face-planting into the pillow. I’m sure I’m not the only mum out there trying to be everyone’s everything — the organiser, the worker, the cleaner, the snack provider, the emotional support human — and somewhere in the middle of all that, we forget to look after ourselves. So two weeks ago, I decided enough was enough. I’m actually making the effort to take my makeup off every night. Whether it’s the second I walk in the door after work or at 11 pm when I’m crawling towards the bedroom like a woman who has absolutely given up, I now do a sharp U-turn and head to the bathroom instead. Apparently, it takes 100 repetitions to make a habit stick, so I’m on a mission. Baby steps, ladies. Baby steps. I’ll be honest — I was never a “wash my makeup off” girl. That was just not my thing. But lately I’ve had a bit of a wake-up call. New chapter, new mindset, new lease on life. And yes, if I’m being completely honest, I wouldn’t mind looking a bit more presentable for my next toy boy — or my soulmate. Whichever turns up first. So now I’m in the bathroom with my Radiance Cleansing Oil, and let me tell you — it melts into my hands and massages into my skin like a dream. It’s giving “I’ve still got it,” even if I’m also wearing trackies and contemplating an early night. After two weeks, I can already see the benefits, and I’m actually excited to keep going. Next step, I’ll be adding another product to the routine and slowly turning this chaotic mum life into something that resembles self-care. I’ll keep you posted because I’ve still got 80 more days before my brain fully accepts that, yes, we do, in fact, have a night routine now. And honestly? It’s about time.
